SPECIAL TERMS REQUIRED FOR PURCHASE ~ Texas buyers MUST have a valid alcoholic beverage license to purchase wine. For all other buyers, it is their sole responsibility to arrange and coordinate all packaging, handling and transport of their purchases from Classic Wine Storage facility in Frisco, Texas to its final destination. Packaging and shipping estimates by Gaston & Sheehan are not available for this auction. 

Dynamic Closing: Please note that all are auctions are set to extend if there is any bidding activity within the last few minutes of the auction. Typically, each bid will extend the auction another two to five minutes. This feature protects bidders from being outbid without the opportunity to be notified and place another bid before the close of the auction.

Auto-bidding: Please be aware that when placing your “Maximum bid”, the website will bid on your behalf up to your set maximum bid by the preset bid increment. Example: The current bid is $25, and the bidder enters a maximum bid of $50. The system will bid at the preset increment until the bidders “Maximum bid” is exceeded. At that point the bidder will be notified that he/she has been outbid.

No deposit is required to bid at this auction. Winning bidders will receive an emailed invoice shortly after the close of the auction. Pay from that invoice. If you do not receive an invoice within 24 hours, please contact us. FAILURE TO PAY AND REMOVE ITEMS WITHIN THE DATES AND TIMES LISTED WILL RESULT IN ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION AND DENIAL FROM PARTICIPATION IN ANY FUTURE GASTON & SHEEHAN AUCTIONS, LIVE OR ONLINE. THE ACCOUNT WILL BE DEACTIVATED, ALONG WITH ANY ASSOCIATED ACCOUNTS CONNECTED TO THE BANNED BIDDER.

Bidders are reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction by a purchaser from another state without requiring the purchaser, a seller or shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Gaston & Sheehan or the U.S. Marshals Service shall not, as a condition to sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any permits or licenses. Therefore, a bidder is strongly advised to investigate the possibility of such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages shall be brought into its state from Texas to comply with all of said state's requirements.

All items on this site are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS.” Gaston & Sheehan makes no guarantee as to authenticity, condition, nature, quality, quantity, or size of any item and provides NO WARRANTY, expressed, or implied as to any item. No oral statements by any employee of Gaston & Sheehan should be taken as any warranty, expressed or implied. Gaston & Sheehan recommends that all Bidders examine items before placing a bid to obtain firsthand knowledge of the items. Failure to view/inspect any property for sale shall not constitute cause of cancellation of sale. By placing a bid through this website, you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to follow through with the purchase of the item should you win the item. Bidder expressly agrees not to stop payment, dispute, or contest this transaction. Gaston & Sheehan and its consignors reserve the right to remove any and all items from a sale at any time. In addition, the US Marshals Service retains the right to reject any bids for any reason or to make counter offers or accept back up offers at their sole discretion.

The Description of the Assets Set Forth in the Documents Accompanying Each Bid Package or Lot is Believed to be Correct, but Any Error or Omission Will Not Constitute Grounds or Reason for Non-Performance of the Contract of Sale, or Claim by Purchaser for Allowance, Refund, or Deduction from the Purchase Price.

Bidder Notice:

All prospective bidders should be aware that in order to ensure compliance with the Crime Control Act that they may be subject to a background check. Title 18 USC Section 1963(g) and 21 USC Section 853(h) of the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984, prohibits the United States Government from reverting forfeited property to the defendant(s) convicted of violation under 18 USC Section 1962 nor 21 USC Section 841 et seq., or any person acting in concert with or on behalf of such defendant(s). To ensure compliance with the prohibition, you are required to certify that you are not acting and will not act in concert with or on behalf of the defendant(s) in this case upon the satisfaction of your purchase. Upon receipt of your certification, as set forth below, a records check will be made with the investigative agencies involved in the prosecution of the said case to confirm your submitted certification. In the event your certification cannot be confirmed, the purchase shall be immediately dissolved, and further criminal action taken.
